Treasury Management Build Demo Begins

Treasury Management is an oversight function of BTr in conformity with its mandate to manage the financial resources of GOP. The primary function of treasury management is to establish levels for cash from collections, grants, donations and borrowings so that the government can meet its financial obligations, subsidies and loan repayments on time. The first prototype build for Phase III, Treasury Management, was presented to the BTr on March 10, 2017. The demo highlighted the following oversight functions of the bureau: 


Maintenance of Banks and Branches
Maintenance of TOP Bank Accounts
Recoding of receipts against Tax and Non-Tax Revenue
Recognition of revenues against Tax and Non-Tax Receipts
Processing transfers between TOP bank accounts
Recording of loans received
Recording refund of Loan to Creditor
Recording loan given to GOCC as receivable  
Recording loan payment from GOCC by check
Recording loan payment from GOCC by direct deposit to bank
Automated bank reconciliation

These functions are supported by the Receipts Management, Payments Management, and Cash Management modules of BTMS.
